Fuel and Oil Filtration System for Particle and Water Removal

Remove particles, oil degradation products and water with this enclosed fuel and oil filtration system. Housed in a compact, insulated, weatherproof stainless steel cabinet, it is available in sizes to suit different installation requirements.

Cellulose filter inserts capture fine contaminants, including oxidation products, resin, sludge and varnish. A Y-strainer protects the pump, while a visual pressure gauge indicates when a filter element needs changing.

Filtration performance

• Particle removal: 3-micron absolute filtration, retaining 98.7% of solid particles larger than 3 microns per pass; 0.8-micron nominal filtration, retaining 50% of particles at that size
• Dirt-holding capacity: 4–16 litres of evenly distributed solids
• Degradation product retention: Approximately 4–16 kg
• Water absorption capacity: Approximately 2–8 litres, up to 50% of the total contaminant-holding capacity

Applications

Configurations are available for diesel fuel, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, gear oil, transformer oil, turbine oil, compressor oil, phosphate ester, water-glycol coolants, biodegradable oil and quenching oil. Select the system and filter inserts to suit the fluid and required capacity.
